Walk to Chumbu Ney... :)

Today,  25th of May falls on a very special day for Buddhist as it marks 5 important events in the life of Lord Buddha. The day is celebrated as Buddha Parinirvana, to mark the Lord’s conception, birth, enlightenment, and nirvana. So, many Buddhists observe the day with great faith, enthusiasm and dedication all over the world. Myself and my class mate recognized the day by visiting chumbu ney. Which is located north-east of Paro Valley. It was blessed and left as a hidden treasure by great master, lotus born Guru Rinpoche and later, late head abbot of Bhutan have discovered this Ney and also have built monastery and placed with the statue of Dorjee Phagmo (Vajra Varahi) standing on air and there are numerous sacred sites to be explored . First we went to buy snacks and incense to offer. We reserved bolero to reach us till halfway. After that we headed towards cumbu ney. The path wasn’t rough. We took our steady race not get tried ourselves. At the temple below Chumbu ney, we went around three times and again headed towards the Chumbu which we took thirty minutes walk to reach there. Beauty of Chumbu was the water fall… wow that beauty hasn’t washed away from my heart. It was amazing and lovely.  When we reached the scered place The monks served us tea with zau. I went inside and registered ourselves with our details, I did all. We went inside, prostrated six times and one of the wise monk explained about Chumbu ney, we saw the amazing statue of Dorjee Phagmo (Vajra Varahi) standing on air.Outside the temple, we headed towards the tsho( small lake),  it was beautiful as well, we prayed, offered money and lightened incense stick  while thinking good thoughts. It was a wonderful trip…

 Bhuddha Blesses us always…

Snaps during the day :)

So I think I have started to move on already. I can feel that the feelings are fading away. I had a nice, awesome chat with you.  Everybody has their own life to live with right? No one can stay right here with you forever. As time pass, things changes. Nobody would like it when things changes. Honestly, I bet majority of them hate it. But our life must go on. Nobody knows what will happen next. So be amaze with our future. Well, appreciate every single second of your life :)

mY BirthDay!

"I wouldn’t say I had the most memorable day of my life because every day is so memorable to remember. But when that one-day is all yours, that day holds special in your heart."
It was exactly 11:57 PM, where Tse-Ten came and covered my eyes with scarf.
11:58 I recieved the sms from my friend Sonam Choki... She is the first wisher :).
Exactly at 12 AM they undone with the scarf and they had a surprise for me. They prepared choclate cake, kimchi, stemed momo and lot more all my favorite dish.
They sang a happy birthday song.
And gave me the gift which touched my heart, knowing the fact that I love cats, they drew cats pics and gave me as a gift...
We slept by 2 am i guess.

Again I woke up early in the morning of 18th May,I looked through the window, I saw flowers blooming so beautiful and birds chirping in the early morning. I felt like the summer has come to wish me. And my day just started. A smile is all I had, coz my friends said not to fade wawy with my smile. And then, went for washing, light incence stick, offer water, prostrated 108X2 times and prayed for 30 minutes. After that my friend Yangsoo and Tse Ten woke up aswell, we drank coffe and ate left over steamed momo. Was ready to go off to the college. Then I went to college, It was a sport day in our college so, cherred fro a while and went to my sister place with my friend to collect the stuffs to celebrate my birthday. I gave lunch to my friends and went off to watched movie "THANK YOU SIR". Wow, indeed, I will never forget 18th of May, 2013. Anyhow, the calls from my friends, families and the wishes filled my day. Our life is ............. :(

Life seems quite unfair sometimes but whom to complain to, I am really sorry to hear about your death brother. May your soul rest in peace. i am lost, sense less and I did'nt  believe that you left the world. Still I cannot believe that you were no more in this world. I wish the news that I have heard was in my dream. I feel that given the scale of life in the heaven, one human life is no more than a tiny blip. Each one of us is a just visitor to this planet, a guest, who will only stay for a limited time and we don't know when is our day to breath last. Who knows I may not be their next day to say hi to my friends. What greater folly could there be than to spend this short time alone, unhappy or in conflict with our friends? Far better, surely, to use our short time here in living a meaningful life, enriched by our sense of connection with others and being of service to them. We are driven by self-interest, it’s necessary to survive. But we need wise self-interest that is generous and co-operative, taking others’ interests into account. Co-operation comes from friendship, friendship comes from trust, and trust comes from kind heartedness. Once you have a genuine sense of concern for others, there’s no space for cheating, bullying or misuse. So, friends, I advice you all to be good, stay happy and have less desires!!

Happy Teacher’s Day

source: internet.

I had a bit of research on Teacher’s Day celebration and I found out that this day is observed on different dates depending on the countries’ decision. However, the World Teacher’s Day recognized by UNESCO is celebrated all across the world only by October 5th, and not in 2nd May. Why our country choose to be different? There is a reason for choosing 2nd May. It is because 2nd May coincides with the birth anniversary of great third dragon king of Bhutan (father of modern education). To mark this, Bhutan celebrates its Teacher's Day on the 2nd of May, the birth anniversary of His Majesty Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. I would like to wish Happy Teacher’s Day to all the teachers who have taught me before, as well as even to all my university lecturers.  I believe their hard works on lecturing and guiding us through our education should be noted and appreciated even though they get paid for the job. Now, I kind of having a feeling or desire to meet back some of my former teachers. They must be very proud and happy that their former students (us) are now in successful path after their contribution in the past that would be never forgotten.

I have never personally say thanks to my teachers for their dedication and service to us, so, I would take this opportunity to thank them. You all are so very special, so, this comes to know that you are loved a lot for the ways you have make me bloom.

I am proud to be your student.
