THE VALUE OF PARENTS LOVE… ^_^

Dad and mom... oodles of love and respect to both of u.
Parents are probably God's greatest gift to us for they are the ones who have loved us from the moment we came into this world. Whenever, I see the parents of a newborn child, I see that unspeakable love and joy just illuminating their whole face.
Now, I truly knew the value of our parents' love. As I was growing up, I took it for granted. I thought everyone would always love me the way my parents did! Well, needless to say, I learnt over the years that our parents' love is as close to the "unconditional love" of God that we will ever experience. Yet God's Love is incomparable because he loves every SINGLE person whom He created with an UNCONDITIONAL love.  Parents love was the one CONSTANT I could count on. They were always there to support me, to encourage me and to believe in me as I grew up to face life's challenges - most of all they loved me enough to let me go and find my destiny in this modern wrld.
My father was a person who sacrificed his life for my mother and his 4 children. He was not a rich man but I don’t remember ever growing up wanting something and not getting it. He was a very hardworking, responsible and open person. It is from him that I learnt that honesty was priceless. I am always a dad’s princess.

My mother was the disciplined woman in our family. I remember getting slapped by her when my younger brother and I got into mischief as we always did. She was the one make sure we studied, did our home work, household chores and so forth. More than any person in my life, it is my mother who instilled in me the self-confidence, that I could achieve anything.
Thank you baba and mummy for everything… I love both of you always and forever.
Loads of love and respect to both of you…

Ceremonial dinner with the Family of Samcholing :)

Hello friends, I'm writing with a very full and happy stomach and a smile on my face!
We laugh when it beats upon the crest of life; we shrink in terror when it returns into the dark. Today, I beat upon the crest of life by sharing a great dinner together with a family of Samcholing Middle secondary school.
I don't think people realize how important it really is to make the time to be together sometime and share the pain -gain of life! Its not that, we have to have a very especial and delicious food in front of us that gather us together but  the simple items will allow for people to bond as a family.
As, I already mentioned in the last post that our school organised khuru tournament and we have collected huge amounts. Maximum of the amounts were spent on stage decoration, worth of Nu. 50 thousands. Few amounts, we spent giving refreshment to the students and then last priority was we the teachers. So, school authority planned to keep a simple dinner for the staff, which actually was grand!
Let me share the menu of the supper!!

"Some people think that the truth can be hidden with a little cover-up and decoration. But as time goes by, what is true is revealed, and what is fake fades away."

Milk is for babies. When you grow up you have to drink LOL...

Moving ahead with life ^_^

What’s holding me back? Memories and too much thinking of my “old” life that was filled with memories and people I loved. The people are now gone or not available, and activities no longer seem interesting. So, I’m simplifying my living situation. I am going to try and appreciate the new people and activities in my life although they are not what I initially wanted. Definitely the one thing holding me back is fear! I have fear of failure, fear of loss, fear of what I am really truly capable of doing. To be happy and content, I need to make a decision which will totally change my life. Keeping the fear alive is only keeping me stuck in a very negative situation.
I have recently realized that I have been holding on to them. It seemed to have lost myself by making them the center of my life. Now, I am experiencing loneliness and doubts about where to go from here and how to do it. I know I need to move on and live MY life. I am taking small steps. I’m working on making a life for me. I am scared, but also anticipating a life where I can do whatever I want.
I realized that, no one else can succeed for me on my behalf.  The life I live is the life I build for myself.  There are so many possibilities to choose from, and so many opportunities for me to bridge the gap between where I am and where I want to be.  Now is the moment to actually step forward.
I am working on giving up on a person that I cherish a lot… seems so tough to let go because we have been such good friends and close in relationship. (We are not even talking about EM!….sigh)… I really don’t know what made me to change my mind.  I have done but perhaps it is time to let go and move on. I really cry and it’s heartbreaking that, such a great relationships have to come to an end. Guess I need to remember constantly.
Giving up doesn’t always mean I am weak or wrong in any way. Sometimes it simply means I am strong enough and smart enough to let go and move forward with my life.

When I am letting go of the past, I forgive what needs forgiving, and I am moving forward, I cannot change the past, but I know I can change the future…
Please forgive me I forgave you

Green class ^_^

This is my 6th month of being a class teacher, now I knew and reflected that, to teach young kids, it is important that I create a classroom that attracts the young kids to go to school.  If you handle older students, create a classroom that will help the students learn with interest.  A dull and blank room will not motivate students as much as an alive and well-decorated classroom.  Make sure that your room is created to make the students feel at home at the same time interested in learning. .  The way a teacher creates a classroom conducive to learning also depends on what level she is teaching. For young kids, the classroom should be different.  Teachers of young kids should create a classroom that will fit the needs of the young kids.  Teachers however of the older students do not need to emphasize too much in beautifying the classroom with lots of decorations.  What is important to older students is a comfortable classroom where the students could learn more effectively.
I am notified that before mid-term my class was dull and homely, from the first period only students goes dozed off. So, I used my strategies to create a classroom conducive to learning. Creating a classroom conducive to learning is not so hard. We have to know how to look at the needs of the students and connect them to how you create your classroom.  Always consider the students when creating a classroom in order to help enhance better learning.
Let me describe my class room using pictures extract from my class YOYO:
       1) We have a choesum in front of the students above the board, which will guide the students to be under the god blessing.

2) We have creative board, to let the students promote their talents and creativity.

3) We have a merits and demerits chart, to mark the student’s behaviors.

I   4) I also have flowers inside the classroom to give them a green knowledge and freshness of greenery.

      5) We also have wall magazines, where students have to write their own stories, essays, poem every first week of a month to boost their writing skills.

We also have classroom expectations, where students were reminded everytime to do the work on time.

I    We also have the marking criteria for homework, class work, project work in various subjects.
Our class is also filled with the inspiring educational quotes and teaching learning materials...

Our class floor was colored and made clean by applying the organic plant which gives red dye…

Hehe my class was recognized as the best class… J
I am not blowing my own triumphant and saying that this was the only way to create a conducive class room but you have other strategies as well. The way you deal with your students is a very crucial factor that will help enhance better learning. As a teacher, you need to know how to deal with different types of students.
You don’t need to be a teacher all the time to your students.  A teacher is one person molded from different personalities.  You could be a good friend, a guardian and a classmate to your students depending on the situation… but don’t let them to take an advantage of you…If student see something lenient character in you then they will start taking an advantage of you… Be strong, be friendly and be a good teacher. ;)

^^ Traditional game played in our school^^

Khuru is a traditional game played in Bhutan. Khurus are carved out of hard-wood with a metal tip and there is no restriction on the weight or the size to be played. To strengthen, metal-casing is done on the lower end.
